Welcome to Hochatown!
Your host says:

"Ho-cha-town" is where you're at! While our address is Broken Bow, this little community just north of the city is called Hochatown and houses Beavers Bend State Park as well as the beautiful Broken Bow Lake and Mountain Fork River. Hochatown was originally established in the lake 1800's by the Choctaw tribe and the area grew around the Choctaw Lumber & Coal Company. Southerners seeking a new start after the American Civil War also settled in the area. However, by the 1920's prime lumber supply dwindled and the lumber company moved to other local areas. As it goes, when one business is exhausted another will take its place and that is how Hochatown became the "Moonshine Capital of Oklahoma".

In the 1960's the Mountain Fork River was dammed to create Broken Bow Lake, so the original Hochatown is now under 40 feet of water. The only thing that remains from the original Hochatown are the cemetery plots and church which were moved to their current locations along route 259. Scuba divers can go visit the remnants of the original Hochatown.

From the moment you step into the restaurant, you're welcomed with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The decor is colorful and lively, which adds to the overall ambiance. The menu is extensive and features a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, such as fajitas, tacos, and enchiladas. Each dish is made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The portions are generous, and you're sure to leave feeling full and satisfied. Papa Poblanos' staff was attentive and offers wonderful service. They are aware of the menu and will gladly make recommendations if you are unsure what to order. The restaurant is very spotless, and you can see the employees working hard to keep everything in order. In addition to the great food and service, the prices at Papa Poblanos are very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and quality of the food. The restaurant is also conveniently located in the heart of Broken Bow, making it easily accessible to both locals and visitors. Overall, I highly recommend Papa Poblanos in Broken Bow. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner with friends or a family night out, this restaurant is a great choice.

We had the best late afternoon lunch over the weekend. It was our first time to dine here, the locals told us it would not disappoint and they were spot on. Do yourself a favor and ask for the red and green sauce, so good! Our waitress was attentive and kind, the house margaritas were some of the best I've had in the area. We will be back!

Wow...... I read a lot of these reviews that is what made us choose this restaurant over the other one we had picked. We didn't want to do tex mex while we were in Broken Bow because that's all Texas has. But after reading the reviews I highly suggest making a stop you most definitely will not be disappointed. Edwardo was our waiter and he was the best waiter we have had our whole trip. He guided us on the right margarita and food. Definitely suggest like the other review on ordering the red and green salsa. The red is my favorite. We got the quesadilla with steak and ham wow. Then the chorizo fajita plate phenomenal. White queso is definitely a must. 10/10 recommend making this a stop at some point and time on your visit.

Five stars for customer service, the staff was so friendly and attentive, very welcoming atmosphere and the chips and salsa were fresh. But unfortunately that’s where the good stopped. The food tasted absolutely awful no flavor. I know there’s slim pickin’s around here but there has to be better Mexican with somewhere else…

We wanted to check out the saloon for breakfast. But they don’t open till 10. Even though they have a big sign that says 9. We went and found a trail to walk to waste time. Then found out wasn’t till 10. So we seen this little place and decided to stop. Was so well worth it. The biscuits and gravy are so delicious! And the ham had amazing flavor. Will say noticed Oklahoma say hash browns but mean home fries. Which thru us Texans off. But so damn good! Will go back. Great price also!

We had a great brunch here on a Saturday morning! Food was delicious …. Service was prompt and friendly…. and the restaurant was clean and seemed fairly new. We both tried the Western Omelette with potatoes and a biscuit & gravy (on the side) and we loved it! Would definitely recommend this place for breakfast (make sure you arrive before 10:30am if you want their breakfast menu). Hopefully we’ll be back to try their lunch & dinner menu!👊🏻

I went in to place an order to go. The waitress told me to hold on and went outside. I never received a menu so I had to look it up on my phone until she came back. I placed an order for onion rings. It was about 5 dollars plus tax and I received 4 onion rings. They were delicious. Truly homemade but one of them wasn’t cooked all the way and there was raw batter on one whole onion rings. Wished they gave a bigger serving they were delicious. Service could be improved as well.

We thought this was a larger gift shop. Only a few hats and shirts were available. There were some large cupcakes that were being sold which were delicious. My kids enjoyed their sasquatch fudge "poop". Loved the Harry and the Hendersons artwork.

Not really a lot going on here. A bit of candy, not a lot of stuff to buy, and when we ordered our coffee, the ladies seemed genuinely confused on what we wanted to order. They ended up just giving us cold brew instead of what we actually ordered. It wasn't a complete let down though, at least the cold brew was good!

Typical exorbitantly priced tourist trap. Was charged 8 bucks for a 20 ounce boba tea that was at least half ice and the actual drink part was just Arizona green tea and Torani syrup. If I'd realized I'd be paying 8 bucks for what I could've gotten at EZ Mart for 99 cents a can, I would've said forget it. They looked at me like I was speaking gibberish when I specified that I'd like my green tea sweet, which you would typically do at any other boba tea shop. I guess that should've been a red flag, so I suppose I'm partly to blame. But either way, heads up, don't waste your money here!

My wife and I ordered ramen noodles with beef and vegetables. The noodles were soggy, the portion was for 2 people and had 1 piece of broccoli and barely any vegetables or beef and I was charged $18 for this very small portion that you would pay $8 at any other hole in the wall to go place in a shopping plaza, We also ordered 4 dumplings for $10 and medium size shrimp skewers 6 pieces for $10. The owners were nice but we got robbed with a smile!! The food is mediocre and absolutely not worth the price!! Stay away!!

Ordered chicken noodles, shrimp noodles, and fried rice. Was a bit underwhelming and was literally spaghetti in soy sauce with onions and protein added. Very salty, but we got what we ordered it just wasn't special. Customer service was ok, I asked what the difference was between the Soy sauce noodles and red sauce noodles and the lady answered "One has soy sauce, the other is red sauce" -___- I then asked "what's the flavor difference" and she then finally said the red sauce was a bit more tomato based. Place wasn't busy, both employees on their phones waiting and I can see why. Likely won't be back. Fried rice was underwhelming, didn't try the dumplings though which many boast about here online.

My little family decided to give this place a try. In the photos if you see the Pasta Louisiana that is the red dish I posted 2 pictures one is the very first one that came out and it was cold. I told the waitress, she handle the matter quickly. Our waitress didn't ever seem very helpful when asking what would she recommend. Her attitude and demeanor wasn't very positive. She was like that with multiple tables that had up beat attitudes. I highly recommend the crispy salmon if you do go. So much flavor and was very well put together. The kids loved the chicken Alfredo. For an appetizer we got fried calamari. The sauce with it was amazing. We enjoyed the crafted beers and peardrop martini. They do have live music.

Atmosphere and service was spot on. Country fried steak and potatoes very good both the ribeye and filet were not as flavorful as they should have been and steak was cooked a little more medium and medium rare. BBQ nachos were excellent, certainly took the show on all the eats.

The food was good for where it's located and I would definitely come back. I'd recommend getting the filet over the ribeye and the salmon was cook pretty well (not overcooked). Definitely won't be getting the truffles fries or the truffles Mac and cheese again because it doesn't have any truffles flavor.

The place was busy when we arrived but we were able to be seated without a wait, there were options to be seated in the main dining area, the bar, or the outdoors patio. We chose the bar. They have quite a few beers on tap and margaritas seemed to be a popular item when we went. We ordered the brisket street tacos and the cowboy burger. These were good choices. We watched the last 2 innings of a baseball game on the large screen and had an enjoyable time. It was a touch pricey but the food was delicious and we were served a lot of it. We plan on visiting again.

Great food and service. I got the classic cheeseburger and it was delicious, high quality. I docked them a star because they snuck in a large party fee on our bill without telling us, $15, because we had 6 people in our party. Hurts when you have a small family. Watch out for hidden fees here!

We ordered the Fried Sampler for each of us. It did not disappoint!! Each piece of food was so fresh & yummy we sat & looked at each other as we indulged in our dinner, & when we were done, we were already planning our next visit!! (We also had half of each meal left to take home.)The food was friggin AWESOME 🎉🎉🎉 Service was top notch, atmosphere was beautiful. We ate outside in back, & saw deer going around the pond & up into the woods. Beautifully decorated with old boat motors on the porch as you enter the place, cute ways of using fishing equipment as decor all over & esp in the back where we ate.Its pet friendly, so 2 couples had their sweet pups with them, which was nice & no bother. Apparently this is one of the top 10 corn dog places in the country. I believe it. I’m not big on corn dogs, but my wife stopped because she is. I took a bite, and I can’t say I’ve had a better corn dog. The plethora of condiments is certainly appealing. There’s also a laid back vibe with the hammocks and spool tables.

Awesome vibes and decent prices. The Hut was priced well and served up fresh food pretty quickly. I wasn’t wild about the corn dog batter, but for $4 it was solid. The $3 fried Oreos and Twinkie’s were a bargain compared to the fair. I appreciated the $1 chips and $1 sodas. That’s hard to find these days. The ambiance was great, and I imagine it would be very cool in the evenings with the hammocks rocking and fire roaring. I will say the Yellowjacket infestation near the trash cans in the dining area was not appreciated. Overall a 4/5 experience.

So, the food, service, and atmosphere were great. I had to knock it one mark for the bathrooms. They had several options on pizza and beverages. The pizza had fresh ingredients, which is what certainly took it over the top. See the photos, but we had the veggie, supreme, pepperoni, and cheese. No complaints and nothing but compliments. We'll make this a regular stop when in town.

We come here every time we visit. Chill atmosphere and great food. We had super cheesy cheese styxs with flavorful marinara. We all had a salad which was fresh and delicious, but extremely small for $8. We had the Pig Pen and Casey Jones. The pizza was amazing; as usual! You get a free cup with drink purchase. They offer a wide range of local beer. Can’t wait to return!

This was easily some of the best, freshest food that Broken Bow/Hochatown had to offer during our 5 day stay. We ordered 4 pizzas and wings for takeout. I bellied up to the bar for a beer while I waited for the food to cook. Great beer selection, and a kind server that knew his stuff. Fair prices considering the freshness, and when he came out with the order he said the team in the back threw in some cheesy bread. Bonus! Everybody wolfed down the pizzas when we got home. Shoulda got one more! Edit: on the way outta town, we stopped again. It was the unanimous fav. This is only the second time in a decade of travels that we’ve hit the same spot twice. Love.

Very busy place, we had to drive around a bit to find parking and wait for someone to leave, at 11:30ish. We were also waiting for our crew, and there's a sign that says you can't be seated til everyone is there, which is weird... we just said they were in the parking lot. The food was pretty good, the service was OK. It's salad and pizza and wings. Not too much else. The cocktails were pre-made, but they were fine. A small will cost about 15 bucks or so depending on toppings. I only need like 1 or 2. It could be shared. Cheese bread was delish.

Super cool place. Love that it was family friendly! Heaters and fans on the patio, lots of outdoor space, the view from the upper deck is nice, but plenty of seating and things to do on the lower decks, drink options for the kids, little hot dog stand right outside, cornhole, outdoor toys for kids, connect 4, Jenga, etc. The Front Porch Peach beer was my favorite! I was happy with the price for two big cups of beer, plus souvenir cups, drinks for the kids. One of my favorite places here!

It was really busy, which seems to be the norm for a weekend. It was hard to tell what to do as a first timer. But, we ended up with two dogs and two beers. Tried the wandering wheat and it was a huge miss. Dogs were also cold, even though we grabbed them and immediately sat down to eat. The atmosphere wins this one, though. Outdoor games, plenty of seating and heaters for the cool air.

Love the beers, People, patio seating and most of all, the weiner! The perfect pairing to any beaver. I had the aptly named Beaver Pleaser paired with a Howlin' Jalapeno ale.

Great light beers with tons of flavors! Bill was very friendly when we arrived during closing time. We will be back because the patio is a great way to relax with good classic music and views! Dog friendly too! Small with lots of character. Also a great place for souvenirs!

We had 2 adults 2 kids spent $50. This is definitely the go to for breakfast. I had ordered the breakfast sandwich that came with potatoes, spouse had an omlete that came with potatoes toast or biscuits but they ran out of biscuits so we went with toast. One kid had a pancake that covered the plate and very fluffy, the other kid had 2 scrambled eggs, sausage, cinnamon toast, potatoes. Staff was great and very helpful everything was fresh and extremely tasty. Coffee is strong just the way we like it. Tea is fresh brewed and very good.

Love.

We visit from Texas a couple times a year. We absolutely love the cheese burger! And, the Bloody Mary cocktail is one of the best we have ever had. There are a couple of awesome bartender ladies we love. They gave excellent service and with a smile. We always look forward to coming back.

Very cool atmosphere! Nice size stage, and I love that you can see it from multiple levels! Nice outside seating, even seen families with pups sitting outside! The menu is on a fun little vintage newspaper article! We weren't too hungry, so we split a triple decker, but was a little disappointed that we couldn't try any of the appetizers we wanted due to them not being able to fry anything. She said she wasn't sure when they would be able to fry anything, so no fries, calf fries, green beans or pickles with our sandwich. We will try it again when in the area. Sandwich came out fresh and with a lot of layers.

The atmosphere was great. It is a huge building. We sat upstairs. The service was good but very slow. Luckily we had time to spare. The helicopter shook the building every couple minutes on landing which was kind of cool. The Queso Fondido was tasty with a big plate of queso. Margarita not so much as it was too weak. The restrooms were stylish but the writings on the stall walls were a bit high schoolish. Definitely didn't expect a "your mom" in a saloon. Made me chuckle.

Pretty good Ribeyes cooked medium rare as asked for so they don't dry them out like other places. The shrimp skewers were great. Loved the seasonings on them. Overall great experience, a little on the pricey side. Two steaks three drinks (2 margaritas and a beer) and the sides where. $120 plus the tip

This place has the POTENTIAL to be incredible. Reasonably priced drinks, specialty featured cocktails, local brews on tap, and some very good food. Unfortunately, they seem to be either understaffed or not as efficient as needed. Our party (7 adults and a baby) called when they opened (at 4pm) to request a reservation for 615pm. The employee said they "normally" don't take reservations or call-aheads but she'd put us on their waitlist. Our party arrived promptly at 615pm, only to find that our name had been physically crossed off the waitlist when someone else figured out we weren't actually there yet (apparently). No one called or texted to let us know we actually didn't have a reservation. So our group split up for nearly 45 minutes while waiting for our table (some at the bar, others in the standing areas. They said they crossed us off because they don't take reservations, especially because it was "really busy." It didn't SEEM really busy to us at all, but it did seem like the staff were extremely busy, which makes me think they're shorthanded. Some of the staff were also a bit rude to our guests while we were waiting. Regardless, we enjoyed the meal, and they have an AWESOME little gift shop out front where we bought some great souvenirs, too. Probably will go back at some point, especially after they finish their expansion / renovations in the back! Also, much of the dining seating is upstairs (where there is a bar), but the kitchen is downstairs. This forced the upstairs servers to continually run up and down the stairs for even something as simple as extra condiments. This place could significantly benefit from a dumbwaiter!

The beer on tap was delicious, but it was the highlight, and everything after that seemed to slowly decline. I can usually only make time for one or two breweries per family trip, and I felt like I made the wrong choice about 5 minutes in. My daughter got a Ceasar salad that was nothing more than lettuce and a heap of Parmesan. There was a giant sign in the hostess/ordering area, and the QR code and URL were both broken. I was so disappointed! I wanted in on the secret! It was just a lot of little details led to an underwhelming experience overall, but at least the beer was cold and tasty!

Delicious beer here! The food is ok. Worth a stop for a drink for sure. You walk in and order food at a counter then they bring it to you. There is a separate bar to order beer/alcohol, so not really table service. They have TV's all over as well. Lots of seating room. There's a gift shop next door as well.

We had the fried ravioli and the margarita pizza. Very tasty food. Unfortunately they were out of many of the appetizers by the time we got there (spring break rush). Good quality food, a large assortment of in house beer, and plenty of space inside. The service at the order counter and once seated could be a little better, but I realize they were probably exhausted from a crazy day.

We happened on this place while staying in the area on vacation. We loved it! I really like their pale ale - 3 Rivers. If you like their beer, you can buy some in cans and take it with you. We ordered a large Tubby Keith meat lovers pizza. Soooooo good! My husband and I had enough left over for snacking. Bartender/ server was so nice. We did see people with their dogs in the outdoor seating area. We’ll be back with our dog❤️.

LOVED this coffee stop! We came here because a really bad storm happened the night before. Cell service was gone everywhere and Wifi at our cabin was terrible. So we came here and definitely weren't disappointed! We got an affogato, a mocha, a gluten free cake ball and regular cake ball. Everything was great and I highly recommend!! Also dog friendly!!

Super cute small shop. Ice cream was great can’t go wrong with bluebell ice cream. As a coffee person, I would not recommend ordering. I order an iced caramel macchiato and was given a latte. I even asked the girl if this was a macchiato since it was a coffee you enjoy in layers. I was told they “pre stir” the drink. Not the best coffee. Still I would comeback maybe but just for the ice cream NOT the coffee.

Even the name is cute & fun!! SHUCK ME, WE WILL BE BACK!!!👍🤤🙌

The staff is friendly. There were some red flags! The men's restroom was occupied the entire time we were there, they did allow me to wash my hands in another sink. The food sounded good but was very bland. I had frog legs and they were over $15 for five small frog legs, definitely not worth it! The sweet tea was not sweet! The waiter asked if there was anything that I didn't like and I said that I didn't think the food was as good as it could have been, and then I paid for my meal and I added a tip to the receipt As he brought the receipt back to our table, I saw he checks at to see if I tipped him. if you ask me it's a little unprofessional but so is my rant I guess! The pictures are our food when we got them to our table FYI food was not hot, if you go ahead and eat here do not order the coleslaw It's gross!

Nice setting. You can see the inflation from the bills. Read the reviews before you come to this tourist trap. Very pricy! 4 slices of green tomatoes, $9, two devil eggs, $4, 4-6 small pieces of fried catfish plus 2 sides $16. I'm definitely not coming to this place again.

My husband and I loved it! The place has a distinct ‘vibe’. We ordered the half yard bird plate - 🥵 hot!!! So good it made my eyelids sweat😂 It came with two sides. We got the fried squash and fries. We left nothing behind!!! We did visit during a slower time, so I can’t attest to service and wait times in that regard. Our server was great! They do cook to order, so you will need to keep that in mind. Ours took about 25 minutes. We will definitely be back!!

One goes to the Broken Bow area to get away from glitz and polish. And, at the Blue Rooster, you will find true, down-home southern cooking. Served on butcher paper table coverings and metal trays, the food is plentiful and great for sharing with friends. Their main fare consists of fried catfish and golden fried chicken. Sides are a little different, but very "southern". Most everything is fried and wonderfully crisp hot and tasty. (Just don't let your cardiologist know!) Don't miss the hush puppies, fried tomatoes or squash. Oh...and the wonderful (but sinful) fried coconut and fruit pies.

Pretty good spot. One of the better ones in the area. A nice assortment of creative burgers and a few local beers. Everything was good, but I was surprised that it took an hour for them to make 7 burgers and some fries. The place wasn’t empty, but it certainly wasn’t full. I can’t imagine the wait on a busy evening. The soda machine was a hit for the kids, and I was pleased to try a local beer even though it was my 4th option. The first three were all out. The sweet and sassy burger and veggie burger were the highlights. Clean bathrooms and a fun little zip line out back are a few little extra details that make this place stand out in a good way. Overall it was good, but a few little details keep it short of great. There aren’t many options out here, and this is still one of the better ones!

Awesome food and great place to bring the kids to let them run. The spicy chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. My wife's drink was great, but the old fashioned was probably one of the most disappointing ones I've ever had. Extremely small for the price.

The food and service were amazing!! We met one of the owners and the bartender was so sweet. He had his dog Sam there who kept us company. They have a new dining and bar area as well as a huge outdoor eat, drink, and chill area. Great place for couples and families.

Absolutely a lovely place. Super chill vibe with adorable decor. The food was incredible! The staff was beyond friendly. The owner got with us and told us about their future events, got us super excited to come back. There was items on the menu I wanted to try for next time so I will definitely be back. 100% next time you’re hungry and the in the area come down here and give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

Staff was friendly and very helpful, restaurant was clean. We didn’t not stay outside on the patio & bar because of the weather (it was raining) The absolute BEST grilled chicken club I have ever had! Flavors were perfect the candied bacon. Nutty Butty Burger with Candied Bacon was FABULOUS, the tots were seasoned to perfection. MUST TRY THE WATERMELON TEA!!!

Nice store with pretty good prices even though it was right in the middle of tourist traps. The guy at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you have to pick up a few things you might have forgotten for the trip!

We've been here twice & the lady @ the register is rude as hell! Fine if she dont greet customers as they come in, but I did try to make small talk with her and nope she wasnt having it. She didn't even break a smile, not once. Rude!

Got a really good selection for camping stuff I gave her three this time because they are in the middle of expanding I guess but when they first open they had the most cutest dresses in the most cutest bathing suits and stuff and now they don't have the clothes that they used to have but above all the people are very sweet and they got a very great selection of camping from cooking utensils to just about anything you need for your camper

I didn’t actually get to shoo in the store, but there was a sign that said they were closed for a family vacation. Who can be upset about that? Any store willing to prioritize family is a good one in my book.

We looked everywhere in this little town and we couldn't find propane. We decided to stop here and to our surprise, they had almost anything you need for a camping trip, including the propane. They carry a variety of grocery items and we bought a spicy pickle that was the best spicy pickle we have ever tried. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Customer service was great. Price is for premium quality plus and fair and competitive as a consumer. We purchased a ribeye, 1lb of chicken breasts, 1lb chicken wings, and asparagus. We enjoyed the experience, service, and the quality of food. We will be back again. Everything was flavorful, juicy, and tasted great.

When we have come to Broken Bow in the past, I usually procure some premium cuts in Dallas to take with us; however, this time... I wanted to try some of the meats from Mountain Man Meat Market since we were planning to eat our "steak dinner" later in the week. For my first trip, I decided on some Prime CAB ribeyes. Phil helped pick out some cuts that would fit the bill for our guests (3 steaks at around 1.25-1.5 lbs). I also decided to try a pack of bacon as well... since....well, bacon. When I returned back to our cabin, I got started on the grill while my wife started seasoning and preparing the meats. When I came in to check the progress, I noticed that my 3 ribeyes had transformed into a lovely looking ribeye and two long NY strips. I picked up the phone and talked to Phil on the phone and we were both perplexed as to how this happened; however, I knew that Phil would make it right. He offered to refund my order or to replace my strips for ribeyes. I decided quickly that I did not want to waste the meats and asked for just one of the smallest ribeye cuts he could find. I didn't doubt that the strip would be delectable; however, my son expressly told me he would be consuming an entire steak himself (all 50 pounds and 6 years of age). We had some of our house-mates going back up to the market to procure some sides, jalapeno poppers, and some salsa as appetizers and Phil had my cut waiting for them to take home. Needless to say, we ate it ALL; however, my son failed in his admirable pursuit of polishing off an entire steak by himself. Huge props to Phil for making it MORE than right with us and providing some great food to enjoy while in town. Will definitely be recommending and revisiting !

The market has a good variety on items and selection. You do pay for the convenience. A half gallon of ice cream was $15. In the same complex there is a Hey sugar candy store. If you have been to other locations it’s the same assortment you would expect. A great place for kids.

Such a FABULOUS STORE! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! Especially Robin :) during my weekend getaway I went to the market for everything! Souvenirs and food! I really can’t say enough about the food and the service at The Market At Local 259. We wandered in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and went back for dinner that night and the next day for lunch! You’ve gotta try the Meltdown food truck and their assortment of premade goodies! As if the food wasn’t enough to keep you coming back, the people working there were friendly, helpful, and full of awesome suggestions. We will be likely looking to rent this cabin every time because of the proximity to the Market! 🫶🏼

One of the bigger/nicer options in the area. The prices of the fresh produce were higher than expected, and the selection was smaller than expected, but this was still the biggest actual grocery store we could find. They did well with my son’s birthday cake.

This place is a really bad store to go to. First off the lighting inside is very dim and not bright and vibrant. Also when we went there was a very bad smell inside that was not pleasant and it made the best experience worse. The environment was just bad. We only went to get cilantro but man this was really bad. You would do better going to Walmart that is not far from here then this place. Nobody is happy working here and it sucked to shop inside. I implore you not to go and shop here until they fix many problems that this place has.

So this was a local grocery store, with a masterful depth of great offerings throughout the store. Everything was very easy to find, the staff was knowledgeable of the location of those considered unique items, and the produce was very fresh and delicious. The convenience of checking out was a breeze, and my cashier Ann was very friendly, and shared brief conversations with me while effortlessly, gently and efficiently getting me through the process of paying for my items. I'll assuredly make it a point to visit this store again and again each time I'm in town.

Just left, coming off vacation, and was surprised as to how unfriendly the staff was to people of color. To makes matters worse, they are a Shell branded gas station, thus a hit to the Shell brand reputation. Shell should be more careful in where and who it allows to sell its brand. Had I observed the attendents attitude before pumping gas, I would have went. along with my money, elsewhere. All people should be treated respectively and if not All people should take their money elsewhere!

The morning manager has horrendous customer service, they over charge you then tell you they can’t refund you and when you ask for corporates number she told me to Google it that’s above her pay grade. Refused to give me her name and hissed at me. She said you had the option not to buy it but the backward system they have gives you your discounts after you pay. She is not management material. I left corporate a number we will see if they actually call. I will never shop at that ezmart ever again. I have worked customer service over 20 years never would I speak to customer like that.

They had no water other than bottled (why make trash if you don’t have to is my policy?), no public bathroom, and we were charged 4 dollars for one cup of coffee and some ice. Keep on driving if you see this place. I grew up down here and feel ashamed that someone would be as unfriendly as the cashier we encountered here.

I was absolutely appalled by my experience in this store. We stopped at this store because of its convenient location to get snacks and drinks on our way out of town. We spent $15-20 in this store, yet when my eight and three year old daughters needed to use the restroom, "we don't have a bathroom here" is what was replied to us. I can guarantee we will never make the mistake of entering these premises again. I'm from Tulsa, so my expectations are reasonably meet by QuikTrip. I will gladly drive the extra miles to the Choctaw travel plaza!

Walmart's breadth of product range remains impressive, though navigating through the store can sometimes feel like a treasure hunt. While prices are typically competitive, the quality of goods varies, with some items offering good value, others falling short. Staff are generally helpful, though they appear stretched thin at peak times. Self-checkout is available, which can be a double-edged sword with its occasional glitches. Despite minor drawbacks, it's a dependable one-stop shop for day-to-day essentials, but nothing more.

Worst Walmart. The woman acting as a manager today needs to learn customer service skills. To be condescending and dismissive is not a good attribute to have as a leader. Obviously that’s going to create conflict.

This is Walmart so it is what it is, so to speak. The interior is looking more organized and the employees seem more productive. The outside of the store has a better appearance. Congrats to the store manager. One question, " What was the reasoning of removing the soda pop machines, out in front of the store?"

There is no food here. Idk why no one has said that in the reviews. People are saying this store is weird and they got every thing they needed. Not true because there is no food. Shop at pruetts and then maybe give city council and the county a call and ask why there is no food at this walmart. Other than Food it is like any other walmart. You will find everything you need. Here, theres the unhelpful review you wanted.

Where do I start!?! They have a employee by the name of Blanca and she makes the whole store look bad. She steals from her own place of employment (Walmart) She gives her friends and family discounts that she shouldn't. Blanca taught another female employee how to give the discounts and that ultimately got that girl fired. Why isn't Blanca fired too!?! Blanca also usually hides in a corner by the cloths while talking trash and laughing at customers. She's very unpleasant and unprofessional. She should set a better example for her child. I can't believe that this store allows her to continue stealing right under their noses. If Walmart is going to prosecute every thief they catch then they need to do the same with their very own thieving employees. This particular Walmart needs to have the big guys come in and fix A LOT of issues with their employees. Spend your money elsewhere. Make it to where Walmart doesn't have a choice but to fix this store. Customers want to feel good about where they spend their money. I just can't feel good about spending mine here, not now.

We Broken Bow for a family trip. Our son needed medicine for Swimmers ear and the power was out at Walmart so we came to Sherrills. I’m so glad we did because the hospitality was greatly appreciated! A young woman helped us find what we needed and checked us out quickly and a gentleman gave our young daughter a free candy. It had the feel of a local mom and pop shop and when we are in town, we will only come here for now on.

Poor customer service- I drove 30 min and had to walk into the pharmacy which is difficult for me due to having a bad hip, only to be told by the associate that she couldn’t wait on me because they had to go to lunch, and I would have to come back after 2. There were 2 associates, do they not stagger their lunch breaks? I’m not one to complain much, but I used to work for Walmart years ago, and we never talked to customers like that. She was very rude.

One of the most scenic golf courses around. Beautiful pine tree lined fairways and you're in for a treat on the back nine with awesome views of the lake. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Be careful on questionable lies if you're not in the fairway, lots of little rocks to ding up your clubs.

Couldn't warm up on the range Sunday morning because they hadn't picked up balls. Not ok. Instead I spent extra time on the practice green, which ended up being 3-4 feet slower (not exaggerating) than any green on the course, so not helpful. Onto the course. It was in good condition. Some tee boxes were weeds, but that's easy to work around. The layout is......odd. Extremely narrow with tiny greens. Short dog legs. The trees are so tight you don't have many options to get a ball in the air. Some fairways are crazy narrow. It would be more playable if they took out the first row of trees on every hole.

What a gem on Broken Bow lake! Came up to check on our cabin and decided to play a quick 18 for the first time at the course. Course was in really good condition given we are in a drought. The elevation changes and tree lined fairways throughout was a nice change from our relatively flat and open courses in DFW. Don’t expect country club amenities but you won’t be disappointed with the course. Will definitely be packing the clubs when we visit again.

Complete turn around, these cats got me on the course with no trouble, new carts, new course layout was a nice touch. The improvements here are substantial. The greens have healed nicely and I would say 95% complete. The course as a whole was very well kept, the scenery is still hard to beat within 100 miles. The cart paths are original and are showing their age, cut them some slack and have a great time. I will definitely be back.

We went on 2 separate days, mainly because of weather, and we were not disappointed! Day 1 we definitely had the better zip guide. She was bubbly, happy, and seemed thrilled to be there. On day 2, our guide definitely wanted to be somewhere else, but I will say she didn't slack at her job at all, and was still fun to be around. Overall, we had a great experience. I encourage everyone to do this while they're in the area! So much fun!

I highly recommend The Broken Tiki for their excellent boat tour. Our family of 22 had an amazing time on the tour and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The crew (Nate) was knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Plus the bops were great! The views were breathtaking and the overall experience was unforgettable. We were immediately greeted by Tiki Cat upon arrival so I knew this was going to be a lot of fun! We loved riding in the funky bus to the lake to ride the Tiki Boat. We had a fantastic tour of the lake and learned about the history of the lake. The captain played great music and even contributed at one point. We saw a bald Eagle soaring over the lake as well. Our tour was early and filled with families who all seemed to be enjoying the ride. The adults only trips sound fun too - I think we’ll try one of those next time!!

An amazing experience you don’t want to miss. You get to go around broken bow lake and the ride is very informative. They take you on a bus ride to the spot where you get onto a boat. The bus ride is also good even though it’s a very short one :) the bus itself is superb (both interiors as well as the exterior) - The boat ride is approximately an hour. The boat ride goes near the beaver’s bend dam and comes back. During to boat ride you can even request to have your favorite song be played :) The staffs are very friendly both at the broken tiki location, the bus and the boat. If you have some unforeseen issues they are also kind enough to reschedule your boat ride if you call them. You can also get drinks and chill if you reach much before your scheduled ride time. Overall, a 5 star experience :)

Staff is extremely friendly. Train ride is informative. The conductor has alot of personality and great with kids. Plenty of wildlife to be seen on the ride. Our family did horseback riding too. The horses are line horses so it is great even for those without any riding experience. The staff rides along checking each rider. Our 7 year old had no problem riding without any experience. I even rode double with my 2 year old as well. Horses are quite tame. I would easily do this again if we come back to the park.

Trail rides are fun and the cowboys and cowgirls that work here are great. My youngest has no idea how to handle a horse and they put him on a good horse and if he gets off the trail they are quick to help him get back. The owners are good friendly people. One of our favorite activities whenever we stay.

Super fun family activity, although I would have appreciated a child discount. $10 per person. It’s still worth the price for the experience. They put out food for the deer, so there’s a good chance you’ll see some along the route.

Nothing short of amazing. We did both the train and trail ride. The horses are beautiful and well taken care of, they kept to the trail, little kids even rode the horse with no issues. The train was awesome, Loco Joe is great, so many deer on the ride, kids loved it.

My family recently had the wonderful experience at TopWater eFoil Surfing at the stunning Broken Bow Lake. This adventure was particularly a hit with my 9-year-old daughter. The instructors, Jamie and Trish, were not only expert guides but also exceptional hosts. Their adept teaching made the entire outing both safe and exhilarating. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to create lasting memories in Broken Bow/Hochatown!

My son & I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an amazing eFoil ride with TopWater eFoil Surfing and I cannot emphasize enough just how incredible the entire experience was! They exuded a genuine passion for eFoiling and were more than happy to share their extensive knowledge of the equipment with us. Their expertise was truly commendable, as they patiently explained every aspect of the foil, ensuring that we felt comfortable and confident before embarking on our exhilarating journey. The eFoiling experience itself was beyond anything I could have imagined. Gliding effortlessly above the water's surface, I felt an indescribable sense of freedom and thrill. The operators skillfully guided us through the process, offering helpful tips and tricks along the way, ensuring that we felt safe and well-supported throughout. Not only were the operators knowledgeable, but they also had an infectious enthusiasm that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We had sooo much fun!! You travel with family we do not always fit the rules. Like bringing our 2 year grandson in screaming while we try to solve world peace. They were so awesome to work with. We booked two games and they worked it so we could all go in about the same time. Family of 11 always a challenge but well worth the lifetime memories. Must go!!

Our game master Ashlynn was very friendly and helpful. We did the Wild West room. The set up simple but fun. We have done multiple escape rooms and the puzzles in this room didn't always make sense, but we enjoyed our time and finished with 11min to spare. I would 100% reccomend this place especially on rainy days when you can't be out doors.

I’ve been to a few escape rooms, and I loved this one for several reasons. First of all, the clues were just obscure enough to make you feel clever but just obvious enough to be guessable without hints. We just had a group of four, which included my 13 yo niece and 9 yo nephew. Even so, we were able to guess all of the clues. The theme of the room (cabin in the woods) was super fun and they had a lot of creative props. It was a super fun activity, and my main suggestions would be to have the room be more immersive (through lighting, music, etc.) and some of the clues were VERY tedious to get through. They weren’t difficult; just very time-consuming. And our guide went through the instructions very softly and quickly, which made it hard to understand (even when we asked him to repeat that). But that’s just my personal feedback, and it doesn’t change the fact that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and solving the mystery of the cabin in the woods. Be sure to check it out for a fun, bonding group activity.

Our group of four had a great time in the Lake House room! Khloe was very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the room not being completely reset before we began, but when this mistake was realized, we were given a little extra time to make up for it. All in all, a fun experience!

This was an awesome time. I’ve always been scared of heights but this was just an amazing experience. I would do it again in the future for sure. Such an incredible experience. I am not generally a fan of heights, or roller coasters, and hadn’t been in a plane a day in my life, but this was incredible. Matt the pilot was fantastic, communicative and gentle. We selected the ultimate broken bow experience (the name of the package I believe). Every turn or move he had to make was so carefully considered. I wouldn’t know what to compare a good or bad pilot against, but I’d hedge my bet he is a magnificent pilot. He made the entire experience a blast from start to finish and we couldn’t believe how fast our 18 minutes were up. We can’t wait to go again one day and do the 30 minute tour.

This experience was amazing. You’re making a mistake if you visit Beavers Bend and don’t come here. My wife and I took our 2 yr old son, and while he loved it, the adults in the car had the best time. The park feels like a sanctuary more than anything. Steep grades are paved, reception area is beautiful, gates and fencing is first class. There’s nothing bad to say about this experience. We plan to re-return tomorrow because it was such a great time. Play the theme music to Jurassic Park as you enter the first gate. Makes it fun for everyone. And the majestic Red Stag to great you from the jump sets the tone. Can. Not. Recommend. This. Highly. Enough.

A great family experience! The Safari Park features over 175 animals right now, so you will definitely get to see most of them! Unfortunately, the giraffes are not at the park yet. And we seem to have missed the kangaroos. You can easily spend more than 60 minutes in there. If you order online or ask for it at the counter, you get a 10% discount. I wish it wasn’t as expensive as it is. You don’t pay per vehicle but per person. At the moment you can’t get out of the car, so better use the restroom before you start the adventure. Regular price: $35/adult. $25/kids. Staff is really friendly and helpful.

My husband and I were visiting from TN and this was by far on of our favorite places we went!! I absolutely love animals & I enjoyed seeing the baby ostrich. All in all we spent over an hour there with driving through and walking down to see the kangaroos. I highly recommend going inside and talking to the staff inside while purchasing your ticket. They were all absolutely lovely. Already looking at coming back & possibly staying at one of their cabins! I also recommend going to Hocha Cup Coffee inside as it was a nice, sweet sip while riding through.

Wow!! What a really fun park. Took my kids (all under the age of 10) and had the best time. The safari park is really well laid out so that you can see the animals without spending all your time searching for them. The park was clean and looked professionally done, from the moment you entered the parking lot. You can tell the animals are well taken care of and I appreciated that we saw animals we never knew existed.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Hochatown and decided to treat ourselves to a Spa day. Andrea and Ashley did an amazing job on us! We chose to do the couples retreat massages and it was the best experience ever. They really made you feel at home and comfortable. The cucumber water was so refreshing. They provided us with a dessert of chocolate covered strawberries, a brownie and your choice of beverage. We will definitely be back!

It’s a little difficult to find but what a hidden gem! It’s not your big fancy spa with crystal chandeliers and all that “fufu” stuff but instead very dimly lit with antiques and after walking through the door I was immediately in love! Pamela was so sweet and our entire experience was top notch!! I loved every minute of the 2 1/2 hours!! ❤️

This is not your everyday message. This was a one of a kind experience and I’m still relaxed days after our message and facial. I wanted to take the table home with me to sleep on, it was that good. And the dessert at the end was the cherry on top. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

Owner followed up on the phone with helpful ways to care for a pinched nerve. She gave advice on how my spouse could follow up treatment with detailed instructions and diagrams. She spent 15 minutes on the phone, out of the kindness of her heart, to help me for free. I don't live here and she knows that I can't be a regular. She honestly wants to help people without expectations. I have no doubt that the owner has high expectations for herself and the quality of her services for each individual client.

Husband & I got a couples rejuvenation massage and it was great. In the past we’ve not had great experiences with massages, so this was a pleasant surprise. We both came out totally relaxed and refreshed. The spa was clean, professional, and on time. No issues like some of the previous reviews stated. We would both highly recommend ** We didn’t get the glass of wine that came with our massage. We both assumed it was because our massage was at 9am. (We were given 2 chocolate covered strawberries instead)

It's hard to have a good experience when you feel dropped at every corner. When my wife and I sent in a form to schedule for over our honeymoon, we were never contacted back so we tried calling directly. The answerer seem terse and like she didn't have time for us and said we would be scheduled and recieving an email and immediately hung up. We never recieved an email. We hoped since we were "booked" though we could still show up at the scheduled time. When we pulled up (20 min early) no one was present but all doors were unlocked for some reason? We waited until our scheduled time hoping someone would show up but no one did. There was a sign inside that said they were with clients but there were no other vehicles in the parking lot so... Who knows. I did try calling out to see if someone answered but nothing. While walking around we noticed there seemed to be at 15+ different names for the place (probably closer to 6 but still...) like they couldn't decide what they wanted to be called or what they wanted to do. Here's a few examples: Flawless Wellness Spa, Flawless Aesthetics, Zen Garden, Zen Den, Hotel Sbaara, Hole in One donut shop (?), UTV rentals.

My husband booked us a couples massage for 10 a.m. We arrived early around 9:45. Door locked. Receptionist saw us and let us in. There was another couple waiting and they were taken back once we came inside. We were asked our names and receptionist confirmed our appointment and told us they were running behind and it would be a little after 10 before our massage. No problem. We waited an hour before 2 more therapists arrived and we were then told our appointment had been canceled by the owner. Excuse me? (Oh that’s right everything I had read in the reviews) They took the next couple whose appointment was scheduled for 10:30, around 10:50. My husband explained what they were doing is trying to catch up and canceling us to do so. They denied it and had no reason or excuse for why they were canceling us. Then tried to say they were trying to accommodate us. Their tone, attitude, lack of good business, no timeliness, and poor communication are just bad business. As a small business owner myself I know what they should’ve done. Apologized to us, offered us a free upgrade at a later time…something. 10/10 do NOT recommend. I read the reviews before but due to lack of availability other places we thought we’d give this a try. Just don’t do it.

I cannot recommend them enough. My wife and I had a weekend getaway to broken bow for our anniversary and she booked us an in cabin couples massage. I’ve had multiple massages before but this one was hands down the best one I’ve ever received. Both of our therapists were excellent at helping us relax but also helping with our pain areas. Once they left, we felt like we were floating on clouds. It was the biggest highlight of our trip. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

This place was excellent. I got a couple's massage with my husband at the facility (not in-cabin), and it was my husband's first time. We were both very pleased with the communication from our therapists and the massages we received. The facility was clean, they were ready for us on time, and they gave us our full hour session. If we come back to the area, you can bet we'll be back here!

Took my two college daughters to bowl on a Monday night. Not too crowded and we had a great time! All the staff there were super sweet, our server was very attentive and kind. Food and drinks were great, really loved the brisket quesadillas! Had lots of fun in the arcade too. It’s a great addition to the Broken Bow area especially if weather isn’t favorable for outside stuff. Will go back for sure!

Ate here for supper on a Sunday night around 6:30pm and it was a good experience! The building is more of an entertainment center rather than just a restaurant, with bowling, billiards, darts and a medium-sized arcade to choose from. We enjoyed the chips & queso for an appetizer and chose the boneless wings & a chicken quesadilla as main course. Food was good! Service was friendly and helpful and quick! Would be a fun place to bring your family or a large group of friends to hangout! Several large TVs scattered around building to watch sports, so definitely had the “sports bar&grill” vibe. I’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Big miscommunication with the server. Tried to order a pitcher of soda with empty glasses. Waitress offered to fill up glasses first. Then we asked for smaller kid glasses for the pitcher. Waitress filled those up. Ended up paying $25 for 10 Dr Peppers and no pitcher was on the bill. Waitress explained they don’t actually charge for the pitchers. 100% surprised by the bill. 🤦🏻‍♂️ EDIT: The owner chooses not to understand the nature of the complaint. Would rather be snarky than respond to a genuine misunderstanding. (See every other response to a negative review) The server should not say they sell soda by the pitcher when they don’t. Not looking for free drinks. Am looking for clear pricing, communication, and owning up to responsibility.

My group and I had an outstanding experience at Captain's Hideaway Rentals in Broken Bow. We rented a new UTV, and the team was excellent in providing a thorough walk-through and detailed instructions. The process was efficient, with a necessary but streamlined paperwork process. The representative took us swiftly through the forms, all of which contained important information, ensuring we understood everything before setting off. They were diligent about safety, ensuring we were well-informed about the vehicle's emergency procedures and safety features. This attentiveness gave us a boost of confidence, making the adventure even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Captain's Hideaway Rentals for their superb service and commitment to safety. If you're in Broken Bow, don't miss this unforgettable adventure.

The owner is very respectful and professional. Would absolutely recommend this place. It was our first time in Oklahoma and he directed us to the national forest for atv riding. After returning his equipment, a little late, we told him that one of our quads broke down deep into the trail. Without hesitation, he offered help, and showed up with a old school jeep and two beautiful dogs to help us, again well after hours. This man went way out of his way to help us, and we all really appreciate it.

You won’t regret renting from Captain’s Hideaway. They were very accommodating of our group of 8. Their knowledge of the trails made us very comfortable going out. We rented 2 UTV’s for the first day and had a great time seeing parts of the forest we hadn’t seen before. The kids loved experiencing the trails on the UTV’s and getting out at the creek to play. We had plenty of time to stop for pic/snack/creek breaks while out on the trails. We will do this again! The second day we rented 2 Jeeps and headed out to the trails they had marked for us. This was recommended to us by the owners, and we’re so grateful they did! The Jeeps provided a completely different experience for all 8 of us as well as new trails and more of the forest we had never explored before. There are trails for every level of off-road experience you want. We had plenty of time to get out for pics, snack breaks and exploring on the trails. Our whole group loved the Jeeps too. We will do the Jeeps again for sure too. You can’t go wrong with either option. They provide different experiences, views and trails. Our kids loved both adventures too. It was nice to have the knowledge, experience and advice from the owner’s. It made our time out on the trails better.

My husband and I had a blast! The owner was extremely kind and helpful. She got us setup with GPS maps so we knew where we could go even without service and suggested a few fun places to check out. We will definitely be returning to rent a Jeep again.

Very sweet lady helped us rent/set up the boat. Nice and clean pontoon. The tube was in great shape and our family had a fantastic time. Will definitely rent from them again. Prices seemed reasonable for the area.

I have to say, this place was awesome. I did not rent from them, but I needed some advice on where I could ride, so I stopped in. The staff there was so helpfull! Helped me download an app and spent at least 20 minutes with me to make sure I had all the info. If I ever rent one, I will definitely get it here. Amazing place and very helpfull staff.

This is the BEST place to get your rental! You'll save over $200 just in the boat rental vs renting at the marina!!!! Plus you'll have better service. Wayland is a ROCKSTAR! He made everything easy, fun & he has a positive attitude! They give you 1st class service bu bringing the boat down to the docks for you & picking you up after your rental time. The boat has a stereo system on it where you can pair your bluetooth or plug in your auxiliary cord in to play your music. Thank y'all for such a great experience! Please tell Wayland to keep up the GREAT WORK! When we come back we'll be renting more stuff again.

My family rented a pontoon boat and tube for 4 hours. The boat was is great shape and so was the tube. The people who helped us were professional and friendly. Thank you Bandit’s for helping my family make some great memories! I would recommend them to everyone looking to have a great day on the water. Not to mention they were the best price in town for boat rental.

Great experience for the kiddos ! Our little one decided she didn’t want to go so they offered a refund which was appreciated ! Staff on the track we very nice and patient getting them started and they had fun. Young woman Staff member at the window was very short and not welcoming( quite rude), as a business owner myself it is good to have a welcoming staff member for your customers to interact with for their first impression . but over all we will go there again ! Nice clean set up and organized !

I'm always game for racing or bumpers cars. This place has an hourglass shaped track. Just before you think you're gaining speed to cut someone off, a turn comes up. The race lasts five minutes. If you're ever in the Hochatown, staying at a cabin or going camping in beavers bend state park and like car racing. Stop by rev up your go cart. They also have great food. I had their popcorn 🍿. Good stuff. Thank you Bigfoot Speedway.

Went with a party of 14 to ride gokarts! The lady in the front was super rude because I was going try and ride I had one fractured finger with a little metal splint. No where near did the regulations say anything about injuries. All it said was neck, heart, or pregnant! When we asked her if someone else could drive. The little girl said I said No Period!!! She had a Nasty attitude

Me & my family had a very unpleasant experience. The lady at the front desk was prejudice, rude, & disrespectful to our kids as well as the rest of my family. 1st off we were trying to purchase tickets for the go carts. She had pulled a young lady from the back to serve us because she didn't want to serve us. Unfortunately the young lady couldn't ask some of the questions so she had no choice. 2nd while serving us she said that the girls couldn't ride because they had halter tops on , which they weren't they were regular shirts. & there were multiple girls riding that had those type of shirts on. 3rd she said the kids needed an adult to ride which I've never rode with any of my children before. And once again there were kids riding by themselves. Lastly she said they only accepted cash & accepted a card payment from a lady that we let pass us. So if you are of any Black ethnicity do not go here. Spend your money at the other go cart place nearby.

We had a really good time doing the lake house room. It was a great way to do something together as a family while on vacation. The kids at least didn’t touch their phones for an hour. The staff was super helpful when we got stuck on a puzzle or two. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is a few small things need to be fixed or replaced. A few of the locks numbers were worn to where it was a little hard to read, but other than that, 5 stars.

Great experience. Very helpful staff. Party had a great time. Easy reservation and still flexible upon arrival; We had to add a member. Equipment was intended to look worn out, but was in good working condition. Everthing functioned properly, unlike other rooms we have attended. If you get the combination right, the lock easily opened. Good prices.

Staff was really nice and this is a brand new place. Props were good in the rooms but it’s mostly numbers and locks. Our family prefers escape rooms that combine numbers/locks with logical reasoning and physical obstacles. Overall a good place to visit, especially on hot or rainy days.

Too expensive, too many rules, too many restrictions, insufficient information to solve the puzzle without getting several clues. It's not that the escape is that difficult, it's the fact that there is not enough information available to solve without clues. Time is limited to one hour and that would be enough if the challenges were well thought out and designed.

My husband Kevin & I enjoyed celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary at A to Z Guest Ranch this past week . We took our horses and horse trailer with LQ to enjoy the mountain trails and beautiful scenery . Christina, Tim and Loren made our visit a time we will always cherish . Loren even replaced the pads on my Appaloosa's front hooves after we discovered on the first trail ride that the pads were not sealed causing debris and small stones to get caught under the pads . My horse was so much happier after Loren corrected the problem ! We can't say enough about the hospitality and friendliness of everyone at the ranch . The trails were well marked and fun to ride . Loren's experience with horses and horseshoeing are great assets for this ranch . We hope to go back soon and enjoy the trails again with these wonderful horse loving people ! Happy Trail Riders! We had the pleasure of staying at the A to Z Ranch over the Memorial Day weekend. Words cannot describe how great our stay was, but we will try. Christina and Tim, the owners, were fabulous hosts and very accommodating. The ranch is very secluded and peaceful. The accommodations are clean and well kept and everything you will need is supplied in the cabins, just bring your own food and get ready to relax. We stayed in the Longhorn Cabin which was cozy and beautifully decorated. It is situated next to the creek and the views are breathtaking in the morning as the sun shines in the window from the water. We had breakfast and dinner at the property and the food was amazing. Tim is an excellent chef and I highly recommend taking advantage of this add on to your package. I guarantee Tim and Christina will make sure you are well fed and comfortable. We are hooked and will be returning in the future.

Man, River Man trail rides was the best decision on our Vacation. We did a group ride and loved it so much we came back the next morning for a private ride. They have some beautiful horses. And the staff is exceptional. Shannon, kinley, and daisy are awesome guides, so helpful and respectful, very knowledgeable about riding horses and were so nice while teaching us. The lady working the front desk was very sweet and helpful too. We will DEFINITELY be back when they do the 2 and 3 hour rides again. Y'all made our vacation one to remember. Thank you so much! We went on a trail ride in less than ideal weather at 49° and rainy but it was quite possibly the best trail ride I’ve ever been on! Our guides gave us the full experience despite the weather. I loved that it was just our small group and the two guides, Macy and the other girl’s name started with a B (I’m sorry)…they were so funny and we had a great time getting to know them. I would absolutely love to do it again!

What a great time! All of the Staff were great. My kids (7 & 11) wanted to go back the next day to do it again! It was a nice scenic ride. My kids never felt nervous while on their own horse which they had never done before. The horses were very calm and knew what they were doing. Call to get directions and make sure not to go back roads as it sounds like it could be an issue. We saw two Bald Eagle while on the ride. Letting the horses drink was a fun experience as well. The ride through the woods was nice. The river crossing and looking off of the bluff was the highlight. It we ever make it back to the area we will do this again!

Probably one of the best gift shops in town. A wide selection of great looking gifts on nice items. These aren’t the cheap, crunchy, tee shirts and lame stickers. These are all very well designed. The stickers are all $2 as well, which is a steal for collector nerds like myself! I wish every gift shop took a page from these folks book. One of the unique things about this gift shop aside from the creativity and quality was that they had a pretty wide selection of camping necessities.

The service at Hochatime is amazing!! My partner and I went in on Memorial Day weekend and purchased many items, some of which didn't end up coming home with us accidentally. We didn't notice until we got home. I contacted them through Messenger and they sent me the items for free. I was fully prepared to buy them again but that was so kind of them to send it to me.

HRC is one of my favorite places to visit when we are in town. I love interacting with all the animals and the staff is very friendly. It takes a lot to run a place like this. I hope and pray more people will help to donate the funds and items desperately needed to provide adequate shelter, vet care, educational environments, and food. Donation drives and fundraising wood be an awesome way to give them the help they need. I cant wait to go back and see and love on all the animals.

Cool small town rescue center. It’s a bit overpopulated, but that only highlights the need that it serves. There’s a sweet, blind, 8 year old Raccoon named Ruby in the lobby that can is very docile and will let you pet it. Pretty wild!

Much better than I expected! I’ve been to a lot of lame petting zoos, but this one was really good. There was an indoor section with small animals, reptiles and birds, an outdoor section with more birds, a camel, a cute little pig that followed us around, tortoises, a kangaroo, and more. Then there was a walkway through a bunch of farm animals: pigs, ducks, goats, llamas, cows, etc. Lots of area to walk around and interact with the animals. We spent well over an hour here observing and petting. The staff was very professional and friendly The animals here love humans and roam free. I didn’t expect to be this up-close and personal with the animals. This is very different than a zoo. The only thing that is a little disappointing is the smell it is so strong but that is to be expected when you are around animals. The lama is a little mean it dose not like to be pet. But that is the only animal that was not able to interact with it.

This is a really cute wine place with loads of gifts to look at while you're waiting for your wine tasting. The wines are excellent, and although I didn't expect to leave with 4 bottles of wine, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to bring some delicious wine to enjoy at home. If you even kinda like wine, I suggest coming here because the staff is not only knowledgeable but also very friendly. I'd definitely go back again.

It was a little busy when we arrived so we grabbed a seat by the window to wait for space to open up. The staff brought us over a wine list and small table so we could begin tasting right away rather than wait for the group to clear the bar area. The Peach Chardonnay was amazing and the port wines were also tasty we bought a few bottles to take home.

I do have to say the wine was delicious! But, they were out of a lot of wines. The service was absolutely horrible. Very rude, short, annoyed and a smarta$$! It made me not want to buy the wines i really enjoyed and ruined my experience. The wine is a 5! Service is a 1.

This place is a gem. After googling different restaurants and not really finding what we wanted, we happened to just drive by Fish Tales and decided to stop. Sophia, our hostess, was great. She definitely took care of us. Pepper, the chef, prepared some delicious food that hit the spot! The crab dip was loaded and delicious. The charcuterie board was fresh and had a good variety of items. We did a wine tasting and picked the Chambourcin. It is perfect paired with the meats. Thank you all for the wonderful experience and fine dining.

One of the coolest little roadside activities that we’ve done in almost a decade of family trips. This was so cool. My family broke up into groups to have a competition and my daughter tried to bail and get the last stamp from the people at the register, but the young lady with the red hair and glasses has a huge tell. Hah! So much fun! We went on a Thursday AM, and it wasn’t empty, but it certainly wasn’t packed.

I will definitely make this a planned stop for vacation. The staff were friendly, and they had water stations, shade on the course, and fans. If you easily burn, wear sunscreen or long sleeves. Go as a group for maximum fun. It is pricey at around $15-20 a person, but for about 2 hours, it is probably about right. We definitely got our steps for the day. LOL

Good time! There are 5 main towers with stamps and an additional 8 stamps to find along the way. It's challenging but very fun. There are plenty of exits if you want out, yellow vested employees for help and water coolers throughout. At least half of it is shaded under a very big pavillion. It's a great spot to go on vacation and our kids - 8, 11, 12 - loved it. It had been raining a little the day before, maybe morning before, we went and it was a bit muddy in spots. It's a little sandy so it wasn't slippery at all but recommend wearing tennis shoes or shoes that can get a little dirty. Definitely recommend.

This was so fun.A 29,ooo square foot facility that has 5-towers.Each with a stamp on a card they give you. 8-hotspots for extra stamps. 4adults and 2-kids was around $120. If you are a heart patient or have breathing problems Beware it is a lot of walking and searching. But is a Blast and I highly recommend this place.

Very friendly staff, but the natural friendly type. Family business. 3.5miles, ~2.5hrs nice route half rapids and half calm water. Good price. Honest, told us we didn't need reservations because it was a slow day and didn't push us towards the more expensive option. Explained the river, water level, etc and allowed us to use their showers. No doubt coming here next time.

The River Rats crew was great. I was a little nervous and they were so reassuring and comforting. They were patient to explain things and very nice. Nice easy location. Kayaks and gear are in good condition. Very patriotic. Indoor bathroom was in good condition. Some great staff; a couple that were a bit questionable. A bit grungy, but not unmanageable. A heavy smoker in a mildly ventilated office; so be prepared. Quick in, quick out. Would use again.

This place is sketchy and the hired help were very grungy looking. The management was terrible, they smoked heavily in the transport van with passengers, and there was no a/c. We were supposed to have a 10:00 float but weren’t able to leave their office until 11:45 because they were only taking 14 people at a time. When we finally got dropped off, we didn’t have a kayak because the group of people before us were dropped off without boats. We had to wait an additional 25 minutes for them to bring us kayaks. The competitors knew exactly why we were waiting and said it’s common for River Rats. Try any of the others. We will never use them again.

Better than expected all around. The experience is more magical than photos can express. Easy to find, Located right off the highway with safe parking. Clean indoor restrooms. Pricing is very reasonable for single and double kayaks, we did both. My family really enjoys water activities. That being said, this was the most laid back no rushing establishment we have ever used. We will most definitely be back.

River Rats is a fitting name for the type of people who run this establishment. I’ve been going to this location for years. The last time I called at 11:00AM to schedule kayaks for 2:45. They said no problem, come on in. I let them know we are driving in from 2 1/2 hrs away. Again, no problem we will be ready for you. I called when we were an hour away & they LIED and said they shut the river down due to high water levels. I called their competitors ,Tree Frog Kayak & Canoe Rentals, which were happy to receive us at 2:45 to rent kayaks. River Rats Flat out lied and said we just received an email 10 mins ago about the River being shut down. Rent kayaks somewhere else.

This place is great for all ages.Mine and wash your very own gemstones fossils and Arrowheads.Bags range from $10-30-and $50. You can ride a lifelike dinosaur (See pics and videos) . Give these folks some business and Support a local Community . Dinosaur Rideis like $6 but definitely a must for the kids. I give this place 4-stars

Fun place for all ages. We didn't bring it up to our kids ages 12 and 17 because we figured they would be too big, but rehy found it when looking for things to do and wanted to go. Turns out it's fun for all ages. Even the grownups had fun.

A fun educational place for kids and adults, buy a bag of dirt and sift it in the water stream to uncover all kinds of neat stones and fossils. At the time of our visit other attractions (mini golf & dinosaur park) we’re under construction.

Love this place! Walking up we were greeted by one of the owners. He even came over and spoke with us about the items we found and pulled up more info on his phone. We chose to do the mining, dinosaur museum, pirates play house, and wax hands (kids ages 9 & 8). All the staff was amazing!

Amazing lake! Large enough to get away from everyone and enjoy swimming in privacy. The water temperature is June is oerfectb- not too warm or cold. The water is clean and is a please to be in it. Recommend renting a kayak or a boat at the Beavers Bend Marina!

It’s really pretty out there. I went camping on Labor Day. It’s kind of hilly so it can be difficult to find a level spot for your tent in most areas. For food I recommend going to the eat out in Hochatown nearby the lake.

I absolutely love this lake !! It’s beautiful and clear ! I hope to return this summer to enjoy it with my girls. We’ve made this trip twice so far from Waco, Texas and this Christmas we will be back to stay in a bigger cabin on the lake! Can’t wait !!

Broken Bow Lake OK, located on the other side of the cabin we rented, Broken Bow Cabin. There's a tent camp sites $14 per tent a night, also there's RV camping sites, camp ground has a picnic table and a grill, saw couple people bringing their boats to the lake, mostly fishing boat. I not big on fishing, so I can't tell if it's the best lake for fishing, However, if you want to take your friends, family, or girlfriend/ boyfriend, you will enjoy a quiet beautiful view, like an hour hike, and also good some to take couple cool pics, check out the one I upload.

Great experience! The museum is neat; it was fun to learn about the history and importance of wood/the forest. The old homestead is straight out of Little House! What a view. The gift shop was very nice, a little bit of everything. The wood carver doing demonstrations inside is very talented and funny.

I haven't been in years but we started our family reunions up again for the next generation. We had an absolute wonderful time. Spent 4 days exploring, building campires, catching up with cousins, eating, laughing, crying over those no longer with us, telling stories. Can't wait until next year to do it all again.

Very informative Heritage Center that really focused on forests and how trees are used in so many areas of our lives. It gave a thorough overview of the timber industry and had lots of beautiful wood carvings and other “forest themed” works of art…. Paintings, books, historical pictures from SE Oklahoma. Really interesting to learn about wildlife and forestry.

A wonderful hike to absolutely beautiful locations along the river! Our 3 yo made it over half way before we put her in the ergo (this trail is not stroller friendly), but our five yo made it the whole way. Definitely would recommend one adult per little kid, because there are some very steep areas. But overall we very much enjoyed this hike! Start to finish was just beautiful scenery!

Beautiful river along the trail. Needed more signs on the trail, as cell signal was spotty there. Moderate level hike with a few steep inclines, making it harder for grandmas and kids under 6. Make sure you pay for Parking, as a ticket is $20.

Great hike! Would say it's an easy moderate as there's some steep incline in some places. We really enjoyed this one. Went early to avoid the crowd and had nice weather. Lots of fisherman catching and pretty flowers in the area. Trail said 45 minutes. Took us 2 hours but we enjoyed our leisurely pace.

A nice moderate trail for tourists, like us. We took our two pre-school aged children with us and they did quite well. We carried the littlest one through parts because she got tired. The oldest did just fine with me holding her for maybe a 100 feet or so. The waterfall is small, though I nice reward at the halfway point.

This was our second time using Lucky Dog. Since the first they have changed locations, but the basic float route is still the same! Very friendly staff, good equipment, and a lot of fun. Takes about two hours to do the 1.7 mile float. My only real “complaint” is the prices seem pretty high ($40 for adults, $30 for kids) and that now it’s an extra $10 per person if you want to ride it more than once (it was unlimited rides down before).

Over priced for such a short float. If you go pay cash and save ( they don't mention that ) also bring your own tube and save $10 per person. Don't even get me started on the condition of the old bus they haul you up river on. When we returned to the office they turned away a whole load of customers for missing the cut off time by 1 minute. Also you should bring a paddle. The day we went the river lacked current to float. I swam most of it pulling the rest of our group with me.

The first part was ridiculous. You walk 60 yards to get to the river then have to swim 100 yds to even move in the right direction, at all. The rest of the trip was okay because we’d already been in one spot for 3 hrs and drank a lot to make up for the bs. Best part of the trip was the 13 yr old who help us with out floats at the beginning and the end - Browning is his name! For $40 you should buy your own tube and put in wherever you want and have someone pick you up. Ultimately we had a blast but it’s because we got trashed 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

We tried to float last summer, but they were closed despite us arriving during normal business hours, so this year I called a week prior to ask for general info regarding floating the following Saturday/Sunday. I was not told anything about needing a reservation to float Saturday, only to find out upon our arrival. We floated the next day (Sunday) and it was beautiful & refreshing. We enjoyed it so much that we asked if they’d be open the following day (Monday) to which they said they would be. We loaded up the kids and made the drive from Hochatown only to find that they had closed once again during normal business hours and after telling us they’d be open. My suggestion would be to call the morning of before making the drive to confirm you’ll be able to float. Pretty big bummer for the kiddos.

Elaine at distillery was local and angel of the local scene! JJ was amazing too! Tasting wasn’t open! Vodka for my personal taste was very harsh and only to be used in bloody Mary’s! It was NOT GOOD AT ALL! I’m sorry but now scared to even try the bourbon! Need to definitely clean up the impurities in the Vodka! It was HARD CORN MASH !! You can see the IMPURITY IN THE BOTTLE!!!

Good bourbon whiskey, but smooth is not a term I would use to describe this whiskey. The taste is there, but I would like to taste a smoother more aged whiskey. Perhaps they could explore something peated. If your in Hochatown, Oklahoma come try it. Also it makes a good old fashioned!

I had an incredible experience. Absolutely felt like a kid in a candy store and was smiling ear to ear. I was immediately greeted by a wonderful hostess that was very thoughtful and nice.

Super easy to rent a kayak single or two person or a canoe to row. They provide lifevests there to use and recommend you use them but they don't require it. You have to wait for a bus to pick you up and take you to the drop off point. The river was easy to navigate with pretty clear shallow water for most of the ride. The beginning of the river was a little bumpy with all the rocks and you can be tipped over so be careful and take it slow there. But the rest was smooth sailing!! An hour ride back but you can take as long as you want to get back, no rush. 👍 my first time kayaking with my boyfriend and it was very exciting, scary and fun. I recommend it. Good place. 23$ for the double kayak or the canoe. Remember to wear sunscreen, a cap and pants or leggings if you burn in the sun easily and don't wish to tan up. 😅 Have fun and stay safe eveyone!!

Loved every minute of it. Rental area with snacks, drinks, kayaks, paddle boards and minature golf. The young girl that works in the rental building is very friendly, helpful, polite and gave great customer service. Aiden who helps you on the paddle boats..etc. is very friendly, answers any questions and willing to help you enjoy your time. You can paddle out and take a dip. Life jackets available, 12 and younger required to wear them. A very fun activity for families.

While we enjoyed paddle boarding, at a reasonable price, I have to give this spot a 3-star for customer service. The young lady at the desk was curling her hair as we purchased our paddle boards. She was very short in her words and tone. The young boys handing out the paddle boards were friendly and helpful. Beautiful lake views. You can purchase different water activities at an hourly rate. The swimming area across from where we were, was a bit nasty. Looked like there was oil in the lake 😫 Hours on Google say they don’t open until 9am on Saturday, but we went on a Wednesday around 2pm

We were happy with our day out on the river... I wish the river would have had a little more water, but I know no one can control that. The staff were helpful and friendly and informative. Equipment was in good shape, though the life vests were a little tattered, but effective, nonetheless.

We had a really great experience with Tippa Canoe today. Basically no wait to load our bus that shuttled us to the river. Once there, the gentleman that drove the bus gave us a pretty good run down of what to do. Now the river itself was quite a bit more advanced in areas then we had expected. When you overturn (and you most likley will at one point or another) it was really hard to get back on your kayak because of the rivers current and it's SO slippery on the rivers rocky bottom. I did majorly overturn at the Presbyterian Falls and I'm an experienced "lake" kayaker so prepare for that likley possibility. Definitely keep your life jacket on because the river controls you in many places and other kayakers would run into me knocking me off my course and pushing me into rocks, etc. at no real fault of their own. Once your pushed sideways, it's hard to straighten up in the stronger current/rocky areas assuming you dont flip over. Once you are done with your trip you just leave your kayak on the side of the river in a designated spot and just walk back up to your vehicle. All in all we really had a blast and Tippa was great!

We went on the 5 mile kayak trip in September last year, first thing in the AM. It was nice because it felt like it was just us on the river. It took about 2.5 hours. They drive you from their spot to the drop in and when you reach the end you're at your vehicle! Covenient! Very light rapids and very peaceful. Definitely recommend bringing yak grips for the paddles if you have them! We will definitely use Wild Goose again on future visits.

Friendly staff, ease of kayak return gets 5 stars! They take you to the starting point (5 or 8mile) and then you arrive at the location where your car is! So no waiting! Get in your car and go! So so great. If you don't have a bungee cord, they lend you one or have one to buy for $1 in the shop. Forget something? They have a shop of everything you might forget! Hat...you need.. sunglass...you need... sunscreen, drinks, food, medicine, coverups, water shoes, coolers, etc. All reasonable price too! Kayaks are sit in, which is nice. We did the 5 mile and it was fun. Had a couple stopping points for rest and lunch and great scenery. Good spots for water low and moving fast and spots deeper where you paddle less and relax. We did the 10:30 trip. Got dropped off at spot and on river by 11. Stopped for lunch and rest twice. Back at place by 2. We did the 5 mile trip.

Beautiful scenery. Starts at a dam. Several rapids to go thru. 8mile trip. Cute little waterfall to go over. Good intro to kayaking thru class 2 rapids. Not difficult, but takes some thought. We paddled the entire time and still took 3.5 hours.

Mack Polk has been operating Ambush Adventures for 26 years. He will safely put you on the river. Ambush is the most conveniently located outfitter, being the closest to the Hwy 70 bridge for takeout. You don't have to wait for a shuttle to come get you. If you want to bring your own canoe it kayak, for a small fee, he will carry it for you to the put-in location.

This was the place to go, the girls are super helpful and kind. They wait for you at the end of the trip. Just the best. They other company we called first called Wild Goose told us if our kids didn’t have a kayak experience no to go and take classes first, I am so glad I didn’t listen. We had the best time.

WOW! SO MUCH FUN! My family of 5 (3 teens) had a great experience and I highly recommend Yippie Kayo Kayaks. The were kind, professional, flexible (I called to push our original reservation back). It was a perfect float... some relaxing parts.... some challenging exciting parts.... a perfect mix! Had we stayed in the area longer I would have wanted to do the kayak trip again! So much fun!

Excellent Service, very friendly, the family that runs this place is amazing. We (including my 7-year-old daughter) loved this ride, the rapids were fun and challenging. We arrived earlier than our set time and they immediately got us on the river. I am definitely going back to this ride again with Yippie kayaking.

Awesome place, very Accommodating. There are showers with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner on a trailer very decent and very clean. The young lady offered us life vest, straps for our coolers and even a lunch box freezer cooler for our additional items. The team will take you to the top of the river next to the dam with the kayaker and supplies then the driver will greet you to assist with transport back to your vehicle at the end of the kayak adventure. There are pictures along the way that can be viewed online. Wonderful trip

The River Rats crew was great. I was a little nervous and they were so reassuring and comforting. They were patient to explain things and very nice. The guys that took us out and brought us back in were great. And they were there when we got out - we did not have to wait. Great experience. Hope to be back - maybe even this summer.

Beautiful Trip! Amazing staff. Amazing scenery. Amazing wildlife. Overall amazing experience. I messaged them a day before asking if it was dog friendly and sure enough we could bring ours. One note I will make is there are many waterfalls on this trip. Not a beginners course for sure. If you’ve got some experience under your belt it’s truly an epic experience! Thank you friends for an excellent experience:)

I booked a couples massage on my last day at our Cabin in Broken Bow and man, 1 hour was not enough for me. It was my very first massage ever and OMG, it felt epic! They really have angelic hands and I'm glad they were the first ones to do a massage for me. Reasonably priced as well! Will definitely get another one when I'm in the area.

Great hike! Would say it's an easy moderate as there's some steep incline in some places. We really enjoyed this one. Went early to avoid the crowd and had nice weather.

This is a really cute wine place with loads of gifts to look at while you're waiting for your wine tasting.

That Bottled in Bond by Hochatown Distillery, is worth every penny, they don't do chill filtration so flavors are amazing! All of their bourbons are well done but if you like bottled in bond, they got a real good one!

Little odd you can’t get served there at the big nice bar in the distillery shop, but go next door for some of the best mixed drinks you will find anywhere.

I had an incredible experience. Absolutely felt like a kid in a candy store and was smiling ear to ear. I was immediately greeted by a wonderful hostess that was very thoughtful and nice. My food came out hot and beyond what I expected in terms of taste and quality. Very pleased with my visit. Absolutely a must stop for, whether you are visiting the area or just passing through.

My husband and I had such an amazing experience crappie fishing with Scott! Can not recommend him enough. We started the morning with a huge rain storm on the lake, but Scott expertly navigated us on his boat to the other side of the lake and we were able to start getting some fish on our lines even though they were spooked a bit due to the lightening. You can tell this man loves what he does, and is darn good at it. He truly knows the fish's behavior and their patterns. Scott made sure we had a line in the water at all times, and we were able to bring home 37 crappie! We will be calling Scott every time we vacation in Broken Bow!

I've been on several guided freshwater fishing trips, but this one was top tier. Scott knows his craft. He dodged the weather, read the fish, kept us on the piles, netted fish into the boat, took em off the hook and into the ice chest, all while telling us about the lake. This man is a pro, and his price is well worth it. We had all the fun with none of the work. If you're thinking about booking him, do it before he's booked up. Definitely recommend, and definitely will try to book him when we're heading back to Broken Bow. Thanks for an awesome trip!

All Dad wanted to do for his 80th birthday was fish for crappie. Scott not only took us to the right places he provided all the gear, baited hooks, pulled the fish off, cleaned and bagged all 39 fish for us. He is a great guy and laughed right along with us in some of our crazy moments. What an amazing fishing experience! You want to fish in Broken Bow? THIS is who you want to take you!

We fished today with Scott. In 30 years and more guided trips than I can count, Scott is only the second guide I would recommend to anyone. He is a hard working friendly man, who was a pleasure to spend the day with. He helped my son get dialed in to the technique we were using and we caught more than enough fish for this to be considered a great day. If we are ever back in the area we will make a point to fish with Scott again.

I fished with Rudy Monday this week (4/4/22) with my adult children Jack (24) and Emmy (20). We had a great fishing experience with Rudy. We caught a LOT of fish, crappie and walleye. Rudy knows the lake like the back of his hand...a real pro. The very best thing about Rudy was how he treated my kids and I. He figured us out quick and made a great memorable time! I would recommend Rudy to all people I know who wish to fish Broken Bow. I have used a lot of fishing and hunting guide services .......and Rudy gets 10 stars. I and others I know, will be using Rudy in the future, a lot. Better book him now. David Hale, Director Manhattan Construction Company

After pounding sand at a Broken Bow during our first visit to the lake in 2021, my fishing partner and I decided to secure a guide for our trip in 2022. For those that haven’t been to Broken Bow, it’s a pretty massive lake that holds fishing secrets for those newcomers to the lake for the first time don’t know. Rudy has the key to unlock those secrets. We fished with him 4/24 - 4/25 and had a blast. He taught us a ton about the lake, what to use and when, and was quick with a story. His catch phrases of “cast over yonder” and “we’re gone” will stick with us forever:). He only has two rules - “don’t step on the seats or my rods”…understandably so. Other than that it’s a great day on the water…and yes, he got us into the fish - mission accomplished. Highly recommend.

I planned our first fly fishing trip as a gift to my husband for our 5 year anniversary! Our guide, Zach Dorman with Beavers Bend Fly Fishing, was very patient, knowledgeable and the next up and coming personality that will certainly carry on the passion of our fisheries for the generations to follow. Zach taught us how to fly fish…well mostly me! The “mend” got me. Jason caught two and after a while of trying, I just took in the beauty, serenity and peacefulness that surrounded us for the morning in this beautiful state park. Thank you Zach and Beaver’s Bend Fly Fishing for a wonderful first time experience!

We had a great time fishing with Chris and Jeff. My wife and I have never thrown a fly rod ever, and within 10 min of being in the water we were catching fish. Both guides were great and shared knowledge about fly fishing the entire trip. I highly recommend both Chris and Jeff, we will definitely be back to fish with these guys again. Amazing experience!

We are grateful for the memories we made and will definitely be booking with them again in the future. Thank you, Broken Tiki, for an incredible adventure!

Renting a boat to explore Broken Bow Lake is a "must do" when visiting the area. Another "must do" is renting the boat from Hochatown Pontoon and Boat Rentals. They were top notch from start to finish. Chelsea was quick to respond to answer my questions prior to booking. Online booking was a breeze. Directions to the location were easy and thorough. The pontoon boat and tube were in perfect condition. Chelsea took her time to explain the boat and made great suggestions for places to explore on the lake. Her genuine kindness was appreciated. We rented a boat and had the best time. The lake is beautiful and the boat was superb. We will rent again. Thank you.

Wonderful experience. Staff was polite and went over everything needed. Went on a busy weekend and didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for our reservation. Definitely will book again on our next vacation. Jet ski was in excellent condition. Parking is a challenge so prepare to walk.

Rented a 10 passenger pontoon boat on a 4 hour rental and it was great. The boat was like new, the staff was great and we had no issues. Pulled the kids on the tube the entire time and used less than 1/2 tank of gas. All and all a great time.

We enjoyed our pontoon rental today. We had the 13 passenger and a tube. The service was great, plenty of room, weather cooperated. I am giving 5 stars but the motor is only 150hp and the boat only ran 18 to 19 mph. Not great with 7 teens and 4 adults on board. I used an app on my phone to record the speed because the speedometer did not work. The radio didn't work, and the gas gauge did not work. We know the lake well but didn't want to get too far north not knowing the fuel level. All that aside, we will definitely rent again! Thanks for a fun day on beautiful Broken Bow Lake!

We had a great experience with this marina! Rented a 10 person pontoon, the check-in process was quick without any surprises. The boat was clean and in great condition! The team helped us undock and park when we came back. The lake itself is wonderful and perfect to be on during hit summer months. Highly recommend this marina! We will be back!
